Studio Sirah Raises Funds From Kalaari Capital, Lumikai To Develop Indian Mythology-based Game

Lumikai portfolio company Studio Sirah has raised a $2.6Mn pre-Series A round led by Kalaari Capital, with participation from Lumikai, as it builds world-class mid-core games rooted in ancient Indian lore. Founders Abhaas Shah and Prateek Shah built the studio from scratch over a year and a half and shipped an open beta of their first game, Kurukshetra: Ascension, a digital collectible card game based on characters from ancient Indian epics.

Lumikai first backed the studio in 2021, leading its $830K seed round, and continues to support the team on this journey.
