Cüraa Raises $4.2Mn At Series A

Lumikai has doubled down on its portfolio company Cüraa, which has raised $4.2Mn in its Series A funding round. The round was led by 3one4 Capital and also saw participation from existing investors Lumikai, Kae Capital and Better Capital.

Cüraa first started out as House of X, building an house of brands driven by leading creators in every field. As the business evolved, there was one clear standout - bringing together one of the country's leading celebrity chefs to build a trusted, new age kitchenware brand. Founded by Neeraj Kumawat and Chef Sanjyot Keer, Cüraa provides kitchen tools and appliances specifically tailored for Indian households, focusing on premium, design-led, and health-conscious products. Chef Sanjyot is also the founder of Your Food Lab, a culinary content platform with 11Mn+ subscribers across YouTube and Instagram. The founders leverage this audience insight to inform Cüraa’s product development and design.

The fresh capital will support Cüraa’s expansion across pre-cook and cooking categories, strengthen its warehousing and supply chain infrastructure, deepen distribution across D2C, marketplaces and quick commerce, and fund senior hires across key functions.
