Lumikai Leads $1.2Mn Seed Round In AskMyGuru

Lumikai has led a $1.2Mn seed round in AskMyGuru, an AI-powered interactive spiritual-tech platform reimagining how users engage with India's Vedic wisdom. Founded by former MPL product and brand leaders Krishna Mohan Vedula and Vivek Sadamate, AskMyGuru blends AI, gamification and Indic knowledge systems, built on a custom-trained LLM and a hybrid of AI avatars and human guidance.

The founders have previously scaled consumer platforms to more than 100Mn users, and the platform has launched in five languages into a broader faith economy valued at over $35Bn. Aditya Deshpande, then Vice President at Lumikai, described AskMyGuru as an embodiment of the fund's Systems of Play thesis, in which products disrupt legacy industries with lean-forward, interactive and gamified experiences.
