Lumikai Launched It's Annual State of India Interactive Media and Gaming Report 2024 At Insignia

The keynote lineup brought together Padma Shri awardee and Academy Award-winning filmmaker SS Rajamouli, Abdullah Alorainy of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Crysis and Far Cry founder Cevat Yerli and GPU and AI silicon pioneer Raja Koduri.

In his session, SS Rajamouli spoke about storytelling through immersive entertainment that blends Indian culture with global appeal. Cevat Yerli shared lessons from building world-famous gaming IP, while Raja Koduri explored the convergence of gaming, AI, cloud gaming and the future of graphics technology.

Salone Sehgal, Founder and Managing Partner of Lumikai, described Insignia as a platform connecting India's entrepreneurial talent with global decision-makers, and pointed to the report's findings, from a 30% rise in average weekly gaming time to 148Mn paying users and an ARPPU of $22. Developed with Google and Deloitte, the report has been referenced by bodies including MeitY, CII and FICCI.
