Lumikai has led a $1Mn seed round in Vobble, an audio-first interactive media platform for children aged 4 to 12 built on original stories, podcasts, news and music. Founders Neha Sharma and Sowmya Jagannath set out to tackle rising screen time among children, a problem they had faced first-hand.

Neha, Co-founder and CEO, brings two decades of global experience, including as Global Director at EssilorLuxottica and in roles across Unilever, DuPont and PepsiCo. Sowmya, Co-founder and CPO, is a neuroscience graduate with a master's in Human Centered Design and a published children's book author.

Alongside its original stories, Vobble has partnered with publishers including HarperCollins, Hasbro, Scholastic, Rebel Girls, Tulika and Amar Chitra Katha, building a library of more than 2,200 minutes of age-appropriate content on a safe, child-centric platform.
