Bombay Play Raises $7Mn Funding To Build Social Games

Lumikai portfolio company Bombay Play has raised $7Mn in a round led by Kalaari Capital, with Lumikai participating alongside Leo Capital, AdvantEdge and PlayCo. Having reached more than 40Mn players worldwide, the team planned to launch 24 games that year, shifting India's role from a back office for global studios to a home for hyper-social games built for the world.

Lumikai continues to support co-founders Oliver Jones, Abhas Saroha and the Bombay Play team.
