Studio Sirah raises $2.6M in pre-series A round led by Kalaari Capital

We are glad to announce that Lumikai portfolio company Studio Sirah has raised a follow-on pre-series A round of $2.6M, led by Kalaari Capital and with participation from Lumikai. This is a key milestone on their road to building world-class midcore experiences by leveraging themes from ancient Indian lore.

Right from our first interaction with Abhaas and Prateek, we've been extremely impressed with their deep thinking and insights. Over the last year and a half, they've also demonstrated sharp execution skills in building this games studio from scratch and shipping an open beta for their first game - Kurukshetra: Ascension. Kurukshetra: Ascension is a digital CCG that is based on characters from ancient Indian epics. You can check out their cinematic trailer here:
