Pixels Pitch Day: Announcing Our Winners!

In June, Lumikai hosted the inaugural edition of Pixels Pitch Day, bringing together early-stage founders building across games, gaming x AI, gaming-tech, and AR/VR/MR, pitching for an investment of up to $250K from our Pixels pre-seed program.

The event received over 150 applications from across India, with six companies shortlisted to pitch before a jury comprising Salone Sehgal, Founder & Managing Partner, Lumikai; Akshat Rathee, Co-founder & Managing Director, NODWIN Gaming; Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO, KRAFTON India; Tomoharu Urabe, Managing Director, MIXI Global Investments India; Oliver Jones, Co-founder & CEO, Bombay Play; and Ramakrishna Reddy, Co-founder & CEO, QuriousBit. More than 40 founders, operators, and ecosystem participants attended the showcase and community mixer.

The event resulted in two investments: Yum Yum Labs, a casual gaming studio and SwaVid, a gamified interactive edtech platform for school kids, reinforcing our conviction that India's earliest-stage founders are building ambitious products across gaming and interactive media. We will be sharing more on these startups as deals head to closure.
