Lumikai has led a $1.5 million seed investment in NPrep, an AI-powered, video-first learning platform focused on nursing education and career outcomes. The investment reflects a growing focus on specialised, outcome-driven learning platforms that combine strong content with adaptive technology.

Founded by AIIMS Jodhpur alumni Prince Kaushik, Utkarsh Paliwal and Gourav Khurana, NPrep addresses a clear gap. Nursing exam preparation in India remains largely offline and standardised, with limited access to personalised, high-quality learning. For a workforce that is both large and aspirational, this has been a persistent constraint.

NPrep’s model is built around a more interactive, AI-led approach. The platform offers over 1,400 hours of exam-aligned content, supported by adaptive learning paths, an AI mentor and performance analytics. The focus is not only on exam readiness, but on improving access to better career opportunities across domestic and global healthcare systems.

Early traction points to strong demand. Within ten months of launch, the platform has reached over 100,000 users, with high engagement across content consumption and practice modules. This reflects both the scale of the category and the effectiveness of a more personalised learning format. The investment aligns with Lumikai’s broader thesis around interactive media and AI-driven platforms. NPrep sits at the intersection of content, technology and engagement, with outcomes that are both measurable and meaningful for users.

At a broader level, the opportunity is anchored in structural shifts. India continues to be a key supplier of healthcare talent globally, even as demand rises domestically. At the same time, learning is moving towards specialised, career-linked pathways that are closely tied to real-world outcomes. NPrep is positioned within this shift. By combining domain depth with AI-led personalisation, it is building a platform that is both relevant and scalable.
