Episode 3: Pragya Misra x Salone Sehgal

In Episode 3 of Alpha Women, Salone Sehgal, Founder and Managing Partner of Lumikai, sits down with Pragya Misra, Head of Strategy and Global Affairs, India, at OpenAI.

Pragya was WhatsApp's first hire in India in 2018 and went on to become OpenAI's first hire in the country, a rare run at two of the most consequential tech companies of our generation.

In this episode, she talks about why AI can lift the floor for women as well as the ceiling, traces the path from representing India in golf to closing her first business, and the advice that got her on both rocket ships: don't ask which seat, just get on.
