As an Investment Analyst at Lumikai, Anahita is involved in end-to-end deal sourcing, deal evaluation and closure, investment thesis development, industry research, and ecosystem outreach.


Anahita comes from a background of finance, specifically covering public markets and the hedge fund and investment banking industries. She comes with an expertise in financial risk management and compliance, with prior stints at global firms such as D.E Shaw Co., a hedge fund with an AUM of ~$60 billion, Goldman Sachs and Macquarie Group. She has experience with market research, understanding legal and regulatory policies and analysis of various market risks impacting the global financial landscape.

She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Accountancy from Christ University, Bangalore, and is a qualified ACCA affiliate.

On a Sunday afternoon, one can generally find Anahita playing a heavy strategy board game, her favorites include Dinosaur Island and Seasons. As an avid gamer growing up, Anahita enjoyed the likes of The Sims, Stardoll, Roblox, and her current favorites include It Takes Two and Track Mania. A fun fact: She has also published a book on the popular community-driven website called Wattpad, reaching over half a million reads.
