Chief Financial Officer

Dev has 20 years’ experience in fund finance, fund management, risk management, controls and financial accounting. Prior to Lumikai he was Financial Controller at Kedaara Capital, a $3Bn+ AUM multi-stage private equity fund, where he helped set up and run processes for fund administration, investor reporting, and regulatory and tax compliance. Dev has experience in setting up fund structures, facilitating investment and divestment transactions, and coordinating with investors and portfolio companies through the fund lifecycle.

Prior to Kedaara, Dev was a founding partner at Maitra & Rajadhyaksha, a management accountancy and taxation advisory firm. Earlier in his career, Dev has had stints with Tata Consultancy Services and PSI Data Systems where he managed internal audits, IT enablement for key business processes, and program management for large global clients in insurance domain.

Dev is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), has received Risk Management Diplomas from ICAI and from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII UK), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.

When he’s not working with numbers, Dev enjoys playing blitz games on Chess.com and practicing his rather elementary Russian and Spanish language skills on Duolingo.
